JJJJOUND'S CHAIN REACTION

JJJJound has been around for a minute now. But how exactly did JJJJound became known for what it is till this day?

JJJJound was founded by now Montreal-based creative Justin Saunders and is named by his personal blog / mood board which he launched in 2006. This blog was unlike any other blog, he focused particularly on images, which set him apart from any other blogs from that period of time.

After releasing multiple products with high demand over and over, it is undeniable that the business model of Montreal-based brand is working just perfectly. Releasing numerous sneaker collabs such as the iteration on the Vans Old Skool silhouette, as well as the New Balance– and Reebok collaborations. Some people even consider some of these shoes ‘all time classics’.

The balance between hype and quality is in my opinion way off. Please don’t get me wrong, I think the products look great and I love the simpleness of the silhouettes. But people are getting these products for the very wrong reason; ‘hype’, hence the insane prices. Yeah, they are clean, but absolutely no one can justify the absurd prices of the resell market.
